The brow chakra is the third eye. The process of understanding and making sense of the world.

Its colour is Indigo (a combination of red and blue). It is located at the centre of your forehead at eye level or slightly above. This Chakra is used to question the spiritual nature of our life. It is the Chakra of question, perception and knowing. It is concerned with inner vision, intuition and wisdom. Your dreams for this life and recollections of other lifetimes are held in this Chakra. The blockage may manifest as problems like lack of foresight, mental rigidity, ‘selective’ memory and depression. Hence, you can see both the internal and external worlds.

It helps to process imagery and it creates a context for our perceptions. This chakra also deals with intuition and imagination. When the brow chakra becomes out of balance it drifts into delusion and fantasy. Allowing us to have clear visions, spiritual contemplation and you are able to self reflect. Hence, you are able to understand what you see internally and access the deeper truth by accessing your inner guidance.

You become aware of everything that occurs and your ideas become limitless and with this, you can develop your inner and exterior wisdom. The awareness comes from a perspective that transcends the duality of good and bad, white and black.
